Because every second counts!
HEROS
History

In February 2012, a group of concerned individuals got together to discuss the beginning of a group effort to try to bring a dedicated air ambulance helicopter service to Prince George. In May, the BC Helicopter Emergency Rescue Operations Society (HEROS) was formed by founding directors Vince Prince, Brent Marshall, Brian Spence, Vern Johnson, Gary Gurnsey and Ted Clarke, officially establishing our goal to enhance emergency pre-hospital care.

In December 2012, HEROS received the endorsement of the provincial government with supporting advice from MLAs Shirley Bond and Pat Bell. We will continue to form partnerships and strategic alliances with stakeholders to further advance our mission.
